Lake Keowee Home
This lot at Waterford Pointe on Lake Keowee was near the end of a peninsula and called for large expanses of glass to see the water from almost every angle, but the harsh western sunlight reflecting off the big water in the rear required careful shading that wouldn't obscure the best view. The owners also requested a fairly formal French Country style for the front of the home, but the rear really leant itself to a Contemporary Lake style to take advantage of the fantastic views of Lake Keowee and the distant mountains.
