Cliffs Valley Home 4
An interior mountain lot at Cliffs Valley created a private retreat for the clients. The best placement on the site was a lineal and narrow ledge which dictated many functions of the home. The garage was the first thing to be seen when approaching from the road; so, placement and visibility of the front porch was crucial. Also, the screened porch needed to protrude past the front entry, but could only extend so far due to the steep incline of the land below. Beautiful retaining walls were added from the natural boulders found along the site. Their winding lengths emphasized the path to the front porch to welcome visitors.
